When I was younger I played little league baseball. Every day at practice the coach started us off by having us throw the ball to each other, back and forth. This severed two purpose. One was obvious at the time, to warm us up. The other, not so much. The other reason was to build muscle memory and hand eye coordination.

I will admit this part of practice was not fun, but it was necessary. In fact the warm up in practice seemed longer than the “fun” part of practice.

Life is the same way, we have to do consistent activity.

Notice how I did not say you have to be perfect. Perfect may get you ahead but it is not a requirement. You have to be consistent, consistency keeps you moving in the direction you want to go. Consistency helps keep you focused. Consistency will bring to you the ideas and supplies necessary to complete your tasks.

If you want to become healthier you need to perform the healthy acts on a daily basis.

If you want to become a reader, read everyday

Whatever you want to become or do, you will need to take action daily.

Remember, it does not have to be perfect action, it has to be action. It is said that one day without doing a desired activity you will lose up to 50% of the gains from the previous days. Going through the motions however, will maintain the gains.

Stay focused, stay active, stay consistent, and achieve your dreams
