Proceed with Caution

Lately there are a lot of fearful people. Several major events have been cancelled, postponed, or reduced in size due to a virus that has been spreading worldwide. Now I am not going to say that the producers of these events were wrong to cancel, it is there event, and they can do what they please. However, when it comes to changing your plans, your life, or your activities due to a scare or a fear. I would say do not do it. I would suggest that you do and proceed with caution. If you are going somewhere and there are people with obvious signs of sickness, stay away from them, practice proper hygiene, the same stuff we were taught as a kid, Wash your hands with soap and water for more than 20secs. Some say sing happy birthday twice.

Life will be full of unknown issues that can cause you pain, sickness, or even death. You can decide if you want the fear to control your life or if you want to control it. I know, and I am sure if you think hard and long enough you will be able to find someone that has died in their own home. So even staying at home can cause death. For me, I want to live life, and when the day comes to take me away from this world, so be it. I don’t want to die wondering what if.

If you are living life and proceeding with caution you are prepared for the worst but expecting the best. You are doing what you planned to do, but you are also aware of possible issues that may side rail your plans. Situations that may cause harm, injury, or even death. All of these things can be mitigated or avoided. I am not suggesting that you go out and live haphazardly, not caring what happens to you, or worse yet, other people, because of your actions. But I am suggesting that you do not let fear control, your life, you do not stop living because of situations that have arose. I am saying be aware, be prepared, and live!
